Hinterm Stein is an independent knitwear design label by Jutta von Hinterm Stein,

specialising in elegant, wearable knitting patterns for women.

The aesthetic is feminine, classic and refined – with a focus on flattering silhouettes, clever construction and relaxed knitting experience.

Patterns are available in German and English.

Sizes range from XS to 5XL across most designs.

 

## About Hinterm Stein

 

Hinterm Stein creates original knitting patterns for garments – primarily

sweaters, cardigans, tops and vests. The design philosophy combines

classic elegance with modern wearability. Constructions are typically

seamless and worked top-down, allowing knitters to try on as they go.

Patterns are known for detailed instructions, tutorial links, and careful

tech editing and test knitting by experienced knitters.

 

The label is based in Austria. All patterns are available as digital PDF

downloads in German and English. Some in French and Italian.
